The 30-minute guided tour invites neighbourhood tour guides to take you to the Grade III Historical Building Luen Wo Market and present to visitors the restaurants, retail, experiential workshops, exhibitions, guided tours, bazaar, and programme elements within the place. The guided tours will focus on the transformation through the conservation and revitalization process and the community spirit, life stories, and market ecology passed down from the past to the present. Visitors are expected to learn about the history, social values, and the restoration process of Luen Wo Market, as well as the architectural features of the building, the different elements of the project and its value of connecting the city and the rural areas. Explore how Luen Wo Market is transformed into a brand new New Territories hotspot, and how it has become a bustling place! Individuals and groups are welcome to visit by appointment.

Community In-depth Tour—Walking Tour
The duration of the tour is approximately 2 hours.
The professionally trained and qualified tour guides will take you from the Luen Wo Market as the starting point to the neighbourhood, ranging from the old market to the villages, enhancing the understanding and broadening the horizons for the participants.
The tour guide will lead participants to visit the old stores in Luen Wo Market ( iron shop, Luen Wo Market Old Noodle Factory, and tuck shops), and enter the local specialty shops in Luen Wo Hui from different eras. The shopkeepers and old residents will tell us about the changes in people and their lives over the years as well as the impact of urbanisation.
Rural Storytelling Guided Tours: Participants will be led to explore the process of urbanisation while going into different villages to engage in direct conversations with villagers about their daily lives, detailing the unique livelihood practices of the villagers, as well as learning about the intelligence of rural life and the humanity of the communities.

Introduction to Cycling Guided Tours
The length of the tour ranges from 2-3 hours, depending on the route. The tour starts from Luen Wo Market with our professionally trained cycling guides, making use of the community facilities, cycling through the comprehensive bicycle trail route for a better understanding of the community development that surrounds the market, as well as visiting different attractions that are in close association with the Luen Wo Market.
The guided cycling tours are designed with different themed routes, where participants will have the opportunity to visit hotspots such as the Sheung Yue River and nearby heritage sites.
Experience the local characteristics and culture of the area, visiting other distinctive historical buildings and conserved sites within the district.
