FVMO

Established in 1946 under the Agricultural Products (Marketing) Ordinance, the Vegetable Marketing Organization (VMO) is a self-financing, non-profit organisation. It has been striving to provide local quality vegetables such as accredited, organic, and hydroponic vegetables to the general public.

The Fish Marketing Organization (FMO) was first established in 1945 under the Defence Regulations to assist fishermen in resuming production after the war to provide an orderly and efficient marine fish marketing service for the development of the fisheries industry and to improve the social and economic conditions of fishermen. The FMO is committed to the promotion of local fisheries products. The Fish Processing Centre under the FMO develops quality fisheries products and supplies local quality captured and farmed fisheries products to the public through its sales network.

The FMO has currently set up a fish stall (S07-08) and a vegetable stall (S04) in Luen Wo Market, to offer quality local agricultural and fishery products as well as processed products to locals and tourists in this area.
